Silene latifolia (White Campion) is a species of biennial herb in the family carpetweeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Criorhina berberina, Sphaerophoria scripta, Merodon equestris, and Hadena. Individuals can grow to 0.57 m. Reproduction is dioecious.
