Persicaria amphibia (Amphibious Bistort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Canada, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, simple leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by American Snout, Chalcosyrphus nemorum, Cynomyia, and Danaus plexippus. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
