Persicaria amphibia (Amphibious Bistort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Lycaena helloides, Helophilus hybridus, Oscinella hortensis, and Sepsis cynipsea. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
