Abronia maritima (red sand verbena) is a herbaceous species of plants in the family Nyctaginaceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Sonoran bumble bee, Orange Sulphur, California Bumble Bee, and Orange Sulphur. It is a photoautotroph.
