Macleaya cordata (Plume Poppy) is a species of perennial herb in the family Papaveraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by sweat bees, Rhopalum, Bombus ignitus, and Bombus hypocrita. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
