Little Ironweed

Cyanthillium cinereum (Little Ironweed) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Minas Gerais, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Caatinga, Cerrado, Amazônia, Rio De Janeiro, Pernambuco, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Pará, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Eurema hecabe, Frieseomelitta nigra, Ocyptamus fuscipennis, and Leptosia nina niobe. Individuals can grow to 1.6 m.
