It is native to Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Peru, Cuba, British Virgin Islands, Belize, Dominica, Guatemala, Argentina, Guyana, Nicaragua, Grenada, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica, Colombia, Venezuela, Barbados, Paraguay, Brazil, Honduras, Virgin Islands, U.s., Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guadeloupe, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Martinique, El Salvador, Bolivia, Mexico, Suriname, Uruguay, Bermuda, Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, French Guiana, Netherlands Antilles, Saint Lucia, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, Rio Grande do Norte, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Paraná, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Rondônia, Sergipe, Amazônia, Caatinga, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Goiás, Pernambuco, Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, Pampa, Mato Grosso do Sul, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, Amapá, Alagoas, Paraíba, Mata Atlântica, Pará, Pantanal, Amazônia, and Maranhao.
