Artemisia campestris is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, United States, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, North America, Canada, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Hemipenthes sinuosa and Eupeodes perplexus. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
