Beilschmiedia pendula (Slugwood) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Chile. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 90 feet.
