Nephrolepis rivularis (streamside swordfern) is a species of perennial herb in the family sword ferns. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande do Sul, Amazônia, São Paulo, Acre (Brazil), Pará, Paraná, Alagoas, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Roraima, Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, Amazônia, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Mata Atlântica, Rondônia, Espirito Santo, and Amapá. It has compound, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph.
