Nymphaea (Waterlily) is a genus of herb in the family waterlilies. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Puerto Rico, Canada, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum nelumbonis, Marmalade hoverfly, Honey bee, and Helophilus hybridus.
