Vittaria (Shoestring Fern) is a genus of herb in the family Pteridaceae. They are native to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. They have simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 28 m. They have alternation of generations.
