Annual herb (in ours). Lower leaves lyrate-pinnatifid, becoming linear above. Flowers ± yellow in terminal racemes. Petals unguiculate. Stamens 6.
Fruit a siliqua, 4-angled in cross-section with keeled valves and a conical beak.
Seeds in 1 row, ovoid or ellipsoid.
