They are native to United States, Alaska, Western North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Bald-faced Hornet, Epiclopus gayi, Police Car Moth, and Anthophora terminalis. Individuals can grow to 9 feet.
