They are native to Mexico, Peru, SãO Paulo, Amazônia, Paraguay, Bolivia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, The Neotropics, Brazil, Pará, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Argentina, Uruguay, Bahia, Minas Gerais, and GoiáS. They have achenes.
