Juncus mertensianus (Mertens' Rush) is a species of perennial grass in the family rushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Alaska. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.9 feet.
