Juncus effusus (Soft Rush) is a species of perennial grass in the family rushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, Santa Catarina, Paraná, SãO Paulo, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Minas Gerais, Alaska, Rio Grande Do Sul, Western North America, Mata AtlâNtica, Canada, and Rio De Janeiro. They have simple, broad leaves and brown flowers. Flowers are visited by null and Meligethes. Individuals can grow to 6.6 feet.
