Juncus acutus (Spiny Rush) is a species of perennial grass in the family rushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.66 m.
