Filipendula vulgaris is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by digger bees, Sphecodes ephippius, Halictus tumulorum, and Andrena nitida. Individuals can grow to 0.36 m.
