Desmodium paniculatum (L.) DC.

Desmodium paniculatum (Panicledleaf Ticktrefoil) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Flat-tailed Leaf-cutter Bee, Holcopasites heliopsis, Calliopsis andreniformis, and Melissodes bimaculata. Individuals can grow to 0.96 m.
