Lespedeza hirta (Hairy Lespedeza) is a species of perennial herb in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by apoid wasp and Anthidiellum perplexum. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
