Albizia julibrissin is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pakistan, China, Japan, North Korea, Myanmar, Eastern North America, India, Nepal, Iran, Bhutan, Taiwan, and Afghanistan. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Hylephila phyleus, Apis mellifera, Psaltriparus minimus, and Monarch. Individuals can grow to 17.3 m.
