They are native to Pernambuco, Pantanal, GoiáS, Piauí, Mata AtlâNtica, Tocantins, Caatinga, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, Alagoas, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, and Espirito Santo. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.89 m.
