Cowitch

Mucuna pruriens (L.) DC.

Mucuna pruriens (Cowitch) is a species of annual herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Pará, Distrito Federal, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, Cerrado, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, Bahia, RondôNia, GoiáS, and Paraná. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 2.4 m.
