Annual Yellow Sweetclover is native to Rio de Janeiro, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, and Paraná. It has compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Phyciodes mylitta. Annual Yellow Sweetclover fixes nitrogen. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m.
