Lapsana communis (Common Nipplewort) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Europe. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Melanostoma scalare, (page not found), Sphaerophoria, and Lasioglossum calceatum. Individuals can grow to 0.64 m.
