Sisyrinchium micranthum (Blue Pigroot) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Americas, Santa Catarina, Distrito Federal, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Pampa, and SãO Paulo. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Astylus quadrilineatus.
