Colchicum autumnale (Autumn Crocus) is a species of perennial herb in the family Colchicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Frankliniella intonsa, Phaonia angelicae, Thrips major, and Common carder bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.19 m.
