Schismus barbatus (Common Mediterranean Grass) is a species of annual grass in the family true grasses. They are native to North America, mediterranean region, and Africa. Flowers are visited by Armored Stink Beetle, Cordylospasta opaca, Inflated Beetle, and 7-spot ladybird.
