Chloris pycnothrix (Spiderweb Chloris) is a species of herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pampa, Caatinga, Ceará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Santa Catarina, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Maranhao, Distrito Federal, and Piauí. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.45 m.
