Discoglossus pictus (Painted Frog) is a species of amphibians in the family midwife toads. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in the palearctic. They are nocturnal. Individuals can grow to 80 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on saltation to move around.
