Amygdalum politum is a species of mussels in the family Mytilidae. They are native to Natal, Moroccan Exclusive Economic Zone, Mozambican Exclusive Economic Zone, and Angolan Exclusive Economic Zone. Adult Amygdalum politum form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 80 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
