Mactra lilacea is a species of mussels in the family Mactridae. They are native to Tanzania, Red Sea, Natal, and Sri Lankan Exclusive Economic Zone. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 41 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
