Ambrosia artemisiifolia (Annual Ragweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Ceará, Canada, Pará, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, The Contiguous United States, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Amapá, Eastern North America, Mexico, Amazônia, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), United States, RondôNia, and The Americas. Flowers are visited by Eastern Band-winged Hover Fly. Individuals can grow to 86 cm.
