Plenckia populnea is a species of tree in the family Celastraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to GoiáS, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Caatinga, Bahia, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, South America, and Tocantins. They have samaras. Individuals can grow to 3.8 m.
