Elaeagnus angustifolia (Russian Olive) is a species of tree in the family Elaeagnaceae. They are native to Pakistan, Iran, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, India, United States, Russia, Turkmenistan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, North America, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, and China. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Atrytonopsis hianna hianna, Edwards' Fritillary, and Spicebush swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 35 feet.
