Papaver rhoeas (Corn Poppy) is a species of annual herb in the family Papaveraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to South Africa. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by drone fly, Marmalade hoverfly, (page not found), and White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
