Monotagma secundum is a species of herb in the family Marantaceae. They are native to Amapá, Cerrado, RondôNia, Amazônia, Roraima, Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Acre (Brazil), Tocantins, and Pará. Flowers are visited by Fork-tailed Woodnymph, Straight-billed Hermit, and Reddish Hermit.
