Eriophorum angustifolium (Tall Cottongrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Tall Cottongrass is native to the contiguous United States, Greenland, Canada, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, Alaska, western north america, and North America. It has simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. It is a photoautotroph.
