Eriophorum angustifolium (Common Cottongrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, North America, Western North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
