Serenoa repens is a species of shrub in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Florida, Eastern North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Augochloropsis sumptuosa, Eumaeus atala, Augochlora pura, and Lasioglossum tegulare. Individuals can grow to 7.5 m.
