Euphorbia heterophylla (Mexican Fireplant) is a species of annual herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alagoas, Amapá, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Norte, AmazôNia, Ceará, ParaíBa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Santa Catarina, Puerto Rico, GoiáS, Sergipe, SãO Paulo, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Maranhao, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Roraima, The Contiguous United States, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.89 m.
