They are native to Cerrado, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, GoiáS, Paraná, and Distrito Federal. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.24 m.
