Schefflera morototoni (Matchwood) is a species of tree in the family Araliaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Roraima, Alagoas, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Distrito Federal, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraná, Goiás, Amapá, Pantanal, São Paulo, Maranhao, Ceará, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Caatinga, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, Acre (Brazil), Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Paraíba, Mato Grosso do Sul, Amazônia, and Rio Grande do Norte. Matchwood has compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pearly-eyed Thrasher. Matchwood is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
