Microstachys corniculata (Hato Tejas) is a species of shrub in the family Euphorbiaceae. They are native to Amazônia, Tocantins, Ceará, Distrito Federal, ParaíBa, Cerrado, Sergipe, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pernambuco, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Roraima, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, and Paraná.
