Abutilon (Indian Mallow) is a genus of shrub in the family mallows. They are native to Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Black Inca, Short-tailed Emerald, Scale-throated hermit, and Stephanoxis. Individuals can grow to 5.1 m.
