Geranium wislizeni S. Wats. Proc. Am. Acad. 21 : 421. 18S6 Perennial, the caudex often branched. Stems ascending or spreading, 2-6 dm. long,
sparingly hirsute, with ultimately more or less divaricate branches ; leaf-blades reniform or reniform-pentagoual in outline, 3-8 cm. wide, sparingly hirsute on both sides and slightly paler beneath than above, 3-parted or sometimes 5-parted, the divisions somewhat cuneate, usually broad, cleft and coarsely toothed at the apex ; pedicels minutely hirsute with glandless hairs ; sepals awn-tipped, the outer ones 6-7 mm. long, the bodies lanceolate to ellipticlanceolate, sparingly fine-hirsute; petals wdiite, 7-9 mm. long; style-column 15-19 mm. long, glandular-pubescent ; carpel-bodies about 4 mm. long, sparingly hirsute ; seeds about 3.5 mm. long, finely reticulate.
Type locality : Norogachi, Mexico.
Distribution: Northern Mexico.

Geranium geoides Small, sp. nov
Perennial, the caudex branched. Stems several together, 4 dm. long or more, hirsute below, and more or less canescent above, the first internodenot longer than the succeeding ones ; leaf-blades orbicular-reniform to pentagonal in outline, 2.5-6 cm. wide, 3-5-parted, the divisions incised or toothed especially near the apex ; pedicels retrorsely pubescent ; sepals awn-tipped, the outer ones 9-12 mm. long, the bodies oblong to oblong-lanceolate, finely pubescent and ciliate; petals white, 15-18 mm. long; style-column 20-25 mm. long, minutely pubescent; carpel-bodies 4-4.5 mm. long, hispidulous ; seeds reticulate.

Geranium albidum Rydberg, sp. nov
Perennial. Stems ascending or spreading, 4-7 dm. long, branched, with scattered, usually very few retrorse hairs; leaf-blades pentagonal in outline, 5-7 cm. wide, hirsute on both sides, pale beneath, 3-5-parted, the divisions incised and coarsely toothed, the terminal teeth lanceolate; pedicels hirsute; sepals awn-tipped, the outer ones 7-8 mm. long, the bodies lanceolate, sparingly ciliate ; petals white, 11-13 mm. long ; fruit not seen.
Tvpe collected near Colonia Garcia, in the Sierra Madre, Chihuahua, Mexico, July 29, 1899, C. H. T. Townsend& C. M. Barber 181.
Distribution : Chihuahua.
