Dorsal fin origin situated in the middle of the space between pelvic-fin origin and anal-fin origin, its superior border straight or convex, and with 3 unbranched and 7 to 8 branched rays (Ref. 52918, Ref. 52923). Anal fin with concave inferior border, not reaching the caudal fin, and with 3 unbranched and 10 to 11 branched rays (Ref. 52918, Ref. 52923). Pelvic fin, not reaching anal-fin origin, with 2 unbranched and 6 to 7 branched rays (Ref. 52918, Ref. 52924). Pectoral fin pointed and reaching pelvic fin (Ref. 52924). Scales: 60-72 lateral-line scales, 14-16 above lateral line, 4-6 between lateral line and pelvic fin; 26 around caudal peduncle (Ref. 52918, Ref. 52923). The lateral line is complete, follows a ventral line and is median situated at the end of the caudal peduncle (Ref. 52923). It is olive-colored on the dorsal side, silvery on the flanks and ventral side, with a black lateral band (Ref. 52923). Dorsal and caudal fin grey-colored (Ref. 52924).
