Fragaria vesca (Woodland Strawberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and United States. They have compound, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Cabbage Maggot, Halictus tumulorum, Callophrys spinetorum, and Callophrys niphon. Individuals can grow to 0.14 m.
