Myrmeleontiformia is a suborder of Neuroptera. There are 2335 species of Myrmeleontiformia, in 348 genera and 15 families. This suborder has been around since the guadalupian epoch. It includes groups like Babinskaiidae, Brongniartiellidae, and Epigambriidae. They are nocturnal.
