Erythrina is a genus of tree in the family legumes. They are native to Puerto Rico, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Hawaii, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Oriolus larvatus, Heliomaster constantii, Sturnus vulgaris, and Onychognathus morio. Individuals can grow to 2.7 m.
