Potentilla (Cinquefoil) is a genus of herb in the family Rosaceae. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Western North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Protocalliphora, Spilogona, Boloria titania, and Syritta pipiens. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
